In a video posted on X, two soldiers, presumably Franco-Israeli, send a postcard-style message from the front to French MP Thomas Portes from La France Insoumise (LFI). “Thomas Portes, from LFI, thanks for your support,” says one. “Merry Christmas, khouya,” adds the other. The radical left LFI does not support Israel in its war against Hamas. As for the word “khouya,” meaning “my brother” in Arabic, it mocks the pro-Palestinian stance of this same left wing led by Jean-Luc Mélenchon Thomas Portes revealed on X that he had sent a letter to Justice Minister Eric Dupond-Moretti asking for an investigation to be opened into the French soldiers serving in the Israeli army in Gaza. He called for the soldiers in question to be brought to justice in France if they were proven to have committed war crimes, and indicated that he would submit a request to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in this regard. “War crimes have been committed by the Israeli army in Gaza and the West Bank,” said Portes. “it is unacceptable for French citizens to participate in them.” He posted the letter he sent to the French Minister of Justice on social media, and pointed out that France ranks second after the US in the number of soldiers serving in the Israeli army in Gaza.

Footage of the IDF abducting the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital [Original post] 🧵Another personal thread dedicated to an Israeli reservist who served during the first months of the genocide. This time it's Ariel Mualem, a D9 operator who served in Gaza. In mid-December his unit raided Kamal Adwan hospital and abducted the hospital director, Ahmad Kahlout. Kahlout was then tortured by the Shin Bet and forced to give a "confession", on camera, for supposedly being a Hamas militant and for using the hospital as a "military base" of Hamas. Mualem shared a video of the forced confession on his Instagram story, and wrote: "Take a good luck at this d*ck". In the following story we can see the hospital director being abducted, while cuffed. Mualem captioned the video "Human garbage🤮" and "Here he is, not such a hero after we got to him" A year later, Ahmad Kahlout is still held captive in one of Israel's concentration camps. Kamal Adwan Hospital is still under constant attacks, in an area where Israel is currently implementing its "final solution", named The Generals' Plan.
