The arrests have spanned most governorates, including Jerusalem, where many detainees are later barred from Al-Aqsa Mosque, while field interrogations, described as collective retaliation, have intensified alongside widespread reports of severe beatings, home raids and destruction, confiscation of property, hostage-taking of family members, use of detainees as human shields, field executions, and settlement expansion under the cover of security operations. The Prisoners' Club stressed in its statement that these measures represent a continuation of longstanding policies targeting Palestinian presence, with the key shift since the start of the genocidal war being the scale and intensity of abuses; since then, roughly 22,000 arrest cases have been documented in the West Bank.

Israeli authorities are planning to acquire systems that can be mounted on drones to deploy tear gas against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and al-Quds as part of preparations for the upcoming month of Ramadan, Israeli Channel 12 reported. According to the report, "Israel’s" police tender committee approved the acquisition of three systems designed to drop tear gas canisters from drones to disperse protests, with the contract valued at approximately $49,000. Already operating 19 such systems, the occupation police plan to expand their use alongside additional troops, including its "commando brigade", to bolster its occupation forces in the occupied West Bank during Ramadan. Additionally, more troops are expected to be stationed beyond the 22 battalions already engaged in routine security operations. Among the crackdown measures, Friday worshippers entering Al-Aqsa Mosque will be restricted to just 10,000 and to men over the age of 55 and women over the age of 50.
